06 December 2011 - Steel UPGRADE from 440C to D2
We have decided to make an upgrade to the steel that we are using for some of our knives. We will change the steel from 440C to D2.
For this reason all the LionSteel items with blades made with 440C will have, from 2012, the blade made of D2.
The knife family that will have this change are: Opera Daghetta Skinner M2 Mini

24 June 2010 - Blade Award 2010
During the Blade Show in Atlanta US the SR-1 has won the award for the most innovative knife. It is the first time that an Italian company are able to win this award.

Comes a new collaboration with the famous Spanish artist Montejano. Preview of a limited series of 35 pieces of the Opera model, horn handle and and his engraving.

This fix knife is the result of the good collaboration from Lionsteel and the famous Italia Knife Forum MCKF. The blade is made of 440c Stainless steel and has 4 mm of thickness. The handle is in Cocobolo wood. it comes with leather sheath.

News of this year are Daghetta and Mini. Daghetta knives have the TOL System, Tactical Operation Lock. They are available with G10 or alluminium handle. The blade has the Satin Finisching or PTFE.

Settembre 2006. Abbiamo esposto il nostro prodotto per la prima volta alla fiera della caccia di Abu Dhabi. E' stata un' esperienza molto interessante. Ci ha permesso di avvicinarci ad un nuovo mercato fino ad allora mai visitato.
