The SR1 is the first LionSTEEL knife built with the groundbreaking and exclusive SOLID® Knife technology. It is a light yet strong EDC (Every Day Carry) folding knife, the best companion for all daily adventures.

The SR1 Damascus is equipped with a Chad Nichols damascus steel blade available in the Lizard and Rain Drop patterns, and it is provided with frame lock blade blocking system together with the Rotoblock security system. The titanium liner is reinforced with a hardened steel insert. The handle is made from a 3D machined unique block of grey 6AI4V titanium.

Designed by Molletta, the SR1 is provided with a stainless steel removable clip, for which the proper key is supplied. The clip fixing screw is equipped with a stainless steel glass-breaker.

The SR1 Damascus is supplied in an elegant wooden box which also contains both the clip and its key, which can also be used to adjust the blade tension.

Molletta - Michele Pensato

Michele Pensato - aka "molletta", his nickname in Italian – is a very active designer with years of experience. His previous life as an excursion lover and a passion for archaeology had him spending most of his experiences in the great outdoors, where he soon got to understand how a great knife should really be and what it should be capable of achieving. He led the Nexus production group and the group that was created at the MCKF Forum. A keen student of the steel industry, he stands out for his new approach to the use of materials and experimentation in thermal treatment applications.
An advanced user of design software such as Catià, Solidworks, Inventor, he applies FEA to design and aims to create yet more solid and innovative products.
