Description

The SR2 is an EDC (Every Day Carry) folding knife, manufactured with SOLID® knife technology. It is the ideal pocket companion for all daily adventures due to its lightness and reduced dimensions.

The SR2 Aluminum is equipped with a Sleipner steel blade, available in either satin or black finish. It is provided with a frame lock blade blocking system together with the Rotoblock security system. The aluminium liner is reinforced with a hardened steel insert. The handle is made from an unique 3D machined block of Ergal aluminum and there are four colours to choose from: black, green, orange, red.

Designed by Molletta, the SR2 is provided with a stainless steel removable clip, for which the proper key is supplied. The clip fixing screw is equipped with a stainless steel glass-breaker.

The SR2 Aluminium is supplied in a cardboard-box packaging, which also contains the key to remove the clip and to adjust the blade tension.

Molletta - Michele Pensato

Michele Pensato - aka "molletta", his nickname in Italian – is a very active designer with years of experience. His previous life as an excursion lover and a passion for archaeology had him spending most of his experiences in the great outdoors, where he soon got to understand how a great knife should really be and what it should be capable of achieving. He led the Nexus production group and the group that was created at the MCKF Forum. A keen student of the steel industry, he stands out for his new approach to the use of materials and experimentation in thermal treatment applications.
An advanced user of design software such as Catià, Solidworks, Inventor, he applies FEA to design and aims to create yet more solid and innovative products.
