Description

ROK is an E.D.C. (Every Day Carry) folding knife. Highly technological, reliable and easy to wear, it is the ideal companion for the everyday activities.

ROK 50 is a special edition for lionSTEEL's 50th anniversary. The exclusive handle is made from a unique block of Tidascus (damascus titanium) wrought according to the SOLID® knife technology. The 6AI4V titanium clip is provided with the exclusive lionSTEEL patented H.WAYL technology which allows to use the clip only if needed or else to keep it perfectly integrated in the handle. ROK 50 is equipped with a Chad Nichols Scrambled damascus steel blade, and it is provided with frame lock blade locking system together with the Rotoblock safety system.

Designed by Molletta, ROK features an M390 sintered steel flipper which can be removed with the proper supplied key. The locking bar is reinforced with a hardened steel insert, so that it can’t be damaged by the blade.

ROK 50 is made in a limited edition of only 50 pieces, and it is possible for the customer to pick their favourite number when ordering.

ROK is supplied in a cardboard box which is provided with the exclusive NFC technology that allows an easy access to product information, maintenance, manufacturing processes and general information about lionSTEEL directly from your smartphone.

Molletta - Michele Pensato

Michele Pensato - aka "molletta", his nickname in Italian – is a very active designer with years of experience. His previous life as an excursion lover and a passion for archaeology had him spending most of his experiences in the great outdoors, where he soon got to understand how a great knife should really be and what it should be capable of achieving. He led the Nexus production group and the group that was created at the MCKF Forum. A keen student of the steel industry, he stands out for his new approach to the use of materials and experimentation in thermal treatment applications.
An advanced user of design software such as Catià, Solidworks, Inventor, he applies FEA to design and aims to create yet more solid and innovative products.
