ROK è il coltello lionSTEEL con tecnologia NFC. Il disegno è di Molletta Design, mentre tutte le parti tecniche e meccaniche sono state sviluppate da lionSTEEL. Questo coltello ha due importanti innovazioni.
La prima è l'introduzione del nuovo sistema H.WAYL System. Si tratta di un brevetto lionSTEEL che permette di far scomparire la clip all’interno del manico durante l’utilizzo del coltello. La clip può apparire solamente nel momento del bisogno.
La seconda innovazione è l'introduzione della tecnologia NFC nella scatola del coltello. Con questo sistema l’utente non deve più cercare le informazioni sul prodotto, ma è il coltello stesso a renderle disponibili: indicazioni per la manutenzione, approfondimenti sul processo produttivo, o informazioni più generali su lionSTEEL.
Come per il modello TRE, c'è la possibilità di togliere il flipper ed obbligare l'apertura della lama con due mani.
Anche questo coltello fa parte della famiglia dei SOLID, ottenuti da un pezzo unico di Titanio. Il manico è dotato del sistema di sicurezza Rotoblock e di un puntale in acciaio sull’estremità della barra di blocco lama: in questo modo si prevengolo possibili rotture o usure causate dalla lama stessa.
La lama è in acciaio M390 della Bohler, ottenuta dalla tecnologia delle polveri, ed ha una durezza di 59-60 HRC

ROK Technologies
SOLID KNIFE: lionSTEEL made its first Solid knife back in 2010 and it’s been the starting point for the Company revolution… When a new Solid knife comes to life it’s always exciting for us and with the ROK a higher quality outcome has been reached. The frame comes out milling a single solid piece of titanium or aluminum, so the handle is a single strong element of the knife.
H.WAYL CLIP: this system makes it easier when you put the knife back in your pocket and also when you want to pull it out from it.
At the same time the clip is hidden when you use the knife and you don’t annoyingly feel it on your palm when you hold the ROK in your hand.
NFC: this technology has been recently used for different payment methods and logistics, through the use of cards and smartphone… Here it also allows you to check ROK’s details, activate your warranty, contact the customer service and get all the info about lionSTEEL world.
ROTOBLOCK: this security system was born together with the first solid knife, it allows the locking of the blade while the knife is on use, so there’s no risk to accidentally close it while in action.
REMOVABLE FLIPPER: this feature permits to choose how to use your knife, if you don’t want the flipper you can unscrew it using the torx tool and put the second screw you find in the box that perfectly fits the hole in bottom of the blade.
