Description
Knife Community Itay was born in 2020 from the idea of a few friends to want to create a new community for knife enthusiasts. The aim was to transform a pre-existing group of Buy/Sell in a larger place, to be used to share experiences, from the craftsman to the end user, learning and sharing as much as possible about the wonderful world of cutlery.The KC-01 project finds its first expression in the friendship of Michele Pensato, better known as "Molletta", an active designer with long experience, and Raffaele Santoro, a cutlery enthusiast and one of the founders of Knife Community Italy. Both are interested in the idea of creating a new multi-role knife, which can assist the user in his many outdoor activities and decide to involve the entire Knife Community Italy group.
The project is shared with the other founders and with all users who decide, with the formula of the survey, the length of the blade, the steel to be used and the final design that the knife should have, with the desire to entrust the realization of the knife to an Italian company that is an established leader in the sector: lionSTEEL, meeting the kind availability of its owner and CEO, Gianni Pauletta.
The KC-01 project finally sees the light today in a limited series of only 300 pieces, according to the will of Knife Community Italy, thanks to the expert hands of Michele Pensato "Molletta" and the cutting-edge technology of lionSTEEL.
